So, tell me about the neighborhood...
Sometime in the 1960's, Mickey Mantle thought real estate was a good market so he lent his name and image to a new development south Dallas. "Mantlebrook Farms" bore his name and the developers created a stunning entrance to the brand new neighborhood. Unfortunately, Mantle's famed substance abuse made the marketing event a disaster. That promotion went bust but the neighborhood still bares his name as well as the entrances to the neighborhood on Hampton Road.
So, this page is a little sparse. If you have information about the history of our neighborhood, Nance Farm or Mickey Mantle, please let us know!
